Under Construction

Things have gotten even crazier ( if that is possible) at the Wheeler home. We can not wait to see the results of our new projects! However, we hate the mess. I guess there is never a perfect time to do anything. I just hope we can make it through November. I can not wait for them to start on the kitchen! I guess that is when the real fun begins.

Finally, we lost a tooth!

Wow! We have lost a tooth, scored another pet, and manged to wipe out Jack all in one weekend. Maddie had all of her teeth when I left her to go to Hilton Head this weekend. I got a call very early on Thursday saying that Mads had bitten down on her fork and her tooth was hanging out of her mouth. So naturally Big Daddy pulls it out. I can not believe I missed it. It seems like yesterday when I was anxiously waiting for Maddie to get her teeth. As many may remember, Maddie got her teeth very late. We thought we might actually have to buy baby dentures. HA HA!! Mads has been desperately wanting to loose that tooth. She said all first graders have lost at least one tooth. Well, I think it is official!
Will and I came to pick up the kids anxiously waiting to see our toothless child only to find out we have another mouth to feed. All be it a very small mouth, Grams and Big Daddy have given the children another pet for me to take care of. His (or her??) name is Shank. Shank was the name of the countless turtles my daddy would bring home from the golf course. WE loved those turtles. Kori and I must have had at least five. Sadly these turtles all found their way to the Waterway never to be seen again. I don't think I will have this problem with Shank 5000...
It must have been fun at Big Daddy and Grams because Jack was wiped out. It is so peaceful to watch him sleep.

Fun in the Sand box

This is our last little vacation before school starts. The kids love to go play at the beach during low tide. We have had a wonderful time time this summer. It is truly a shame summer is coming to an end, however the new school year will bring new adventures.
